Family Celebrations
Our 60 acre retreat is the ideal setting for a variety of family occasions. We have a variety of cottage styles to fit your family. See Lodging for information on our Cottages, Lodges, and Cabins. Our peaceful surroundings will inspire you to make Inspiration Wood a family tradition.
The Gathering Space is available for up to 60 guests indoors and includes the Grace Garden and Grace Meadow. The Lavender House and Noble Knoll are available for gatherings for up to 18 guests indoors, and 50 guests outside on the patio.
*Food and Beverage Packages can be arranged through out Retreat Planning Services.
Family Movie Nights will be Fridays, weather permitting, at the Lavender house. Popcorn and snacks are available at Dutch Treats inside.

Family Vacations
Our Lodges are perfect for two families of four to share with two king beds downstairs and four twin beds in the loft and bathrooms upstairs and down. Grammy and Grandpa can stay next door in one of the Cabins. For a family of four, our fruitwood cottages are perfect. The two bedroom cottage includes one king bedroom with a full bathroom and a twin bedroom with 3/4 bath. See our Lodging page for more information about our cottages. Our Local Attractions are amazing. Or stay onsite and enjoy our walking trails, petting farm, and recreational areas. See our Amenities page for more information.
Anniversary Parties
Celebrate your marriage with an Anniversary Party at Inspiration Wood. Renew your vows and be newlyweds again. The Gathering Space is the perfect place to have your guests enjoy dinner following your afternoon Grace Garden ceremony. Spend your second honeymoon here in one of the cottages. We even have a place for your in-laws to stay. Bring the children and grandchildren and stay just next door. The whole family can stay and play together. Graduation Parties
For graduations, we have the perfect location. For a fun family barbecue during the summer months, you may reserve the Lavender House & Noble Knoll for up to 100 guests outdoors for a private party any day but Sunday. Inside you will find the Friendship Room (The friendship Room can be reserved for indoor parties up to 24 guests in colder weather.) Lavender House may also include Council Clearing and Chapel in the Wood. Family and Friends can stay here too. Our cottages can accommodate up to 32 family members in a variety of cottage styles. Parents of the Graduate can spend time on those scrapbooks and movies of your life to show to all the family how much you've grown since you lost your first tooth and got your braces off! Let us provide a breakfast buffet for your overnight guests in the Gathering Space. Or for smaller groups you can have breakfast served in the Friendship Room at the Lavender House. Confirmation Parties
Just like Graduation, Confirmation represents a huge milestone in a child's life. Confirmation is a celebration of the child making a commitment to their faith and growing into an adult. For the parent of the confirmand, the responsibility can be time consuming. At Inspiration Wood, we want to help plan for this celebration. We have the knowledge and understanding of the importance of this ceremony. Our Gathering Planner can help plan a meal for your family to celebrate the spiritual significance of Confirmation. Parents can focus on the Confirmand while we prepare the rest. See our Menu and pricing page for lunch & dinner menus. Overnight guests can stay in the cottages. Brunch can be served in either the Gathering Space or Lavender House. See the Booking your Retreat tab for information on how to make a reservation.
Bridal Showers
Every bride is different, and so every bridal shower must be too. The Gathering Space is the perfect size for your Bridal Shower. We can accommodate 48 guests, a gift table, a photo or favor table, and a sweetheart table. Retreat Planning Services will help you plan the perfect meal, and the perfect arrangement to fit your family and your style. Linens and table settings are included as well as audio visual equipment for your slide show or power point memory album. Music can be provided or bring a disc of your songs. Baby Showers
Whether the birth of the first or many kids later, every baby is special. Let the grandparents or aunts and uncles start spoiling early. If it is a girl, we can have sugar and spice and everything nice for your shower. Or for a boy, snips and snails and puppy dog tails could be the theme. If you are waiting for the surprise, our Gathering Space is neutral enough for either. Floral arrangements and decorations can be tailored to your style or preference. Cake and desserts can be flavored for your taste. Our Partners in Excellence provide the finest artisan meals, florals and desserts for you. Gathering and Retreat Planning will plan your shower down to the last spicy snip. We can accommodate 60 guests, a gift table, and a photo or favor table. You have a variety of table linens to chose from. Audio visual equipment is included for music or memory movies on the screen. See the Menu and Pricing page for more information on your shower. Family Reunions
Our Gathering Space is the perfect space for a family reunion in the country. Or you can plan a more casual reunion at the Lavender House. You and our out of town guests can stay in the cottages. We have overnight accommodations for up to 32 in a variety of cottages. Our Lodges are perfect for two families of four to share with two king beds downstairs and four twin beds in the loft. Grammy and Grandpa can stay next door in one of the Cabins. Pinecone Cabin is handicap accessible. For one family of four our fruitwood cottages are perfect, with one king bedroom including a luxury bathroom and a twin bedroom with 3/4 bath. Birthday Parties
The Lavender House was made for birthday parties. The bold colors and exciting outdoor recreational areas are just what your family needs for a fun party. Inspiration Woodie can even visit the festivities. During the summer months, you may reserve the Lavender House & Noble Knoll for up to 100 guests outdoors for a private party any day but Sunday. Inside you will find the Friendship Room (The friendship Room can be reserved for indoor parties up to 24 guests in colder weather.) Lavender House may also include Council Clearing and Chapel in the Wood. Our patio outside can seat up to 36 at tables with umbrellas. See our Pricing page for more information on Birthdays.
